The lawyer joins the team led by Ramón Mesonero-Romanos at the Madrid office. With her signing, at CECA MAGÁN Abogados we are committed to promoting services in these areas, which are increasingly in demand by companies.
María has more than 20 years of experience, during which she has developed in-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance, privacy, and data protection, specializing in recent years in the adaptation of regulations to the use of artificial intelligence, supporting companies in the design and implementation of regulatory frameworks in accordance with the new European AI Regulation (RIA) and its integration with existing compliance systems.
In the area of compliance, throughout her career, she has also designed and implemented internal policies, control procedures, ethical channels, and training plans for companies in different sectors, helping them to consolidate a culture of real compliance.
Our new partner has a law degree from the Complutense University and has specialized studies in ICT Law and Compliance. She also holds DPD (Data Protection Officer) and CAIP certifications, focused on the link between AI and information security.
In addition, María M. Pardo de Vera combines her legal practice with teaching, currently directing the Executive Program in AI and Law at the Garrigues Study Center and teaching classes in the Executive Master's Program in Digital Law and Technology at the same center.
