CECA MAGÁN Abogados strengthens its Barcelona and Seville offices with two new directors

At CECA MAGÁN Abogados, we are strengthening our offices in Barcelona and Seville with the addition of two new labor law directors, Jordi Diosdado and Rosa Meléndez, respectively, as reported today by Cinco Días.

Jordi joins the team led by partner Àlex Santacana at the Barcelona office, bringing with him 18 years of experience advising national and multinational companies. He has extensive experience as a labor litigator, in audits and collective disputes, especially in sectors such as hospitality, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, retail, and tourism. 

He has a law degree from Pompeu Fabra University and combines his legal practice with teaching, being an academic collaborator at OBS Business School. He has been part of Deloitte Legal and comes from Sagardoy Abogados.

Regarding his joining the firm, Jordi highlights: “I am joining a well-established, leading project that is clearly growing and is making a strong commitment to the Barcelona office, which I am very excited to be a part of.”

For her part, Rosa is joining our Seville office, led by managing partner Francisco Esteban, who joined in March 2025. She has more than 17 years of experience, having spent her entire professional career to date at Garrigues.

She holds a law degree from Pablo de Olavide University in Seville and also specializes in labor litigation and labor administrative litigation. In addition, she has in-depth knowledge of the retail and agri-food sectors.

Rosa comments on her appointment: “It is a challenge and a responsibility to join a team of top-level professionals in the workplace. I hope to contribute to the growth of the Seville office, where we want to be close to Andalusian companies.”

Regarding the reinforcement of both offices in the labor area, Enrique Ceca, managing partner of the area at the national level, adds: “The commitment to Jordi and Rosa, both senior profiles, is a response to meet the demand for increasingly complex matters in all our offices.”

Currently, the team is made up of 55 professionals and has been the area with the highest growth in the last year 2024, up 25.5% on the previous year, representing a total turnover of €9.2 million, or 37% of the firm's total.
